Horse Drawn Carriage Rides in Mill River Park

Mill River Park is partnering up with Allegra Farm to host Carriage Rides in the Park!

Rides are approximately 15 minutes long. Registration is on an hourly basis,
with slots at 3 pm, 4 pm, 5 pm and 6 pm.

Rain, snow, or shine!

Get outside for pop up Winter fun in Mill River Park! Take a carriage ride through the Park with your family or friends. 

Pre-registration is highly recommended. $8/person. Ages 2 and under ride for free.


FAQ's: 

How long is the carriage ride? 

Rides will be approximately 15 minutes long. Carriage will take two loops around the Park paths. 

What can I expect at this event? 

Please come ready to have some pop up winter fun with us! This is a community event all about getting outside and having fun in the heart of downtown Stamford! There will be fire pits for staying warm, as well as a lovely tour of the Park on a horse-drawn carriage. We ask that you come on the hour that you registered for, but please expect to wait for your ride for up to 45 minutes as each ride is approximately 15 minutes long. .

Are walk-ins allowed? 

Walk ins are welcome if we have not already filled up all of the carriage ride time slots, which we will advertise when/if that happens. Walk ins will be provided with an approximate ride time after you register at the MRPC check in table.  

Is this event appropriate for all ages? 

Yes! Ages 2 and under ride free. 

Is there a rain date?

No, this event will take place rain, snow, or shine! Please come dressed appropriately no matter what the weather is! 

How should I dress? 

Please come dressed warmly and appropriately for whatever winter weather we have coming our way! You never know what we're going to get in Connecticut so please be prepared so that we all enjoy ourselves.
